The test is based on the principle of specific immunochemical reactions between antibodies and antigens, using a competition method for antibody binding between a drug compound and free drug in the urine sample.

Usage:

Procedure:

1. Allow all materials and samples to reach room temperature.
2. Remove the test card from the sealed foil.
3. Place the pipette into the urine specimen and squeeze to obtain a sample.
4. Hold the pipette in a vertical position above the sample well on the test card and place 2-3 drops (100-150 µL) into the well.
5. Read the result between 3-8 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.

Interpreting the Results:

• Negative: Two colored bars appear. The presence of two colored bands, one in the test zone and one in the control zone, indicates a negative result. A negative result does not indicate the complete absence of amphetamines, only that the level is below the cut-off limit.
• Positive: A colored band appears in the control line area, but no colored band is seen in the test line area. This indicates that the amphetamine level in the urine specimen is above the cut-off limit.
• Invalid: If no colored band appears in the control line area, the test result is invalid. Retest the sample with a new test device. A very light colored band in the test line area suggests that the amphetamine level is close to the cut-off limit and should be confirmed using an alternative method such as GC/MS.
