Composition:

Each 50 mg tablet of Respivax contains a precise blend of lyophilized killed bacterial cultures from the following microbial species:

• Streptococcus pneumoniae
• Branhamella catarrhalis
• Streptococcus pyogenes (Group A)
• Haemophilus influenzae (Type B)
• Staphylococcus aureus
• Klebsiella pneumoniae

This formulation corresponds to 1.25 x 10⁹ cells of each bacterial species. The tablet also contains a small amount of formaldehyde (0.001 to 0.1 mg) as a preservative.

Additional Ingredients:

• Microcrystalline cellulose (0.066 g)
• Wheat starch (0.065 g)
• Colloidal silicon dioxide anhydrous (0.006 g)
• Povidone (0.010 g)
• Magnesium stearate (0.003 g)
• Dextran 40 (0.030 g) – included as a stabilizer.

Usage Instructions:

Treatment Course (Immunotherapy):

• Take 1 tablet daily for 30 days, in the morning on an empty stomach.

Maintenance Treatment:

• After completing the initial treatment, continue with 1 tablet daily in the morning on an empty stomach for 20 consecutive days each month, for 3 consecutive months. This course may be repeated after 5-6 months if necessary.

Preventive Course (Immunoprophylaxis):

• For preventive care, take 1 tablet daily in the morning on an empty stomach for 20 days over 3 consecutive months.
